Simply the best pizza. We now live the other side of town, and it takes us 40m to get there, but no other pizza shop comes close. 10/10. The owner is lovely too and it's amazing value for money. A third of the price of pizza hut, yet 3 x as delicious.

Been coming here since I was a kid. 30 years or more. Pizza's are lovely, staff are nice and fit me at least it feels very comfortable and familiar. Love this place forever

One of the good pizza's places in Nottingham. It is not your typical Italian but is more like a deep pan pizza. But the quality, service is amazing. Very clean place. Nice and friendly person who owns the shop, been there for 40 years and have some of the most loyal customers. Must try for anyone who has not.

Very quick service, absolutely recommend Pepperoni and chilli pizza, would love ic they started dine in bc by the time i getcthe oizza back to eat, it becomes a bit colder than expected .

We visited Poppa Pizza in Nottingham during a family trip from London, and it absolutely exceeded our expectations. This place is a true gem – warm, welcoming, and perfect for families. The staff were friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. The food was outstanding – fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The pizzas were some of the best we’ve had since moving to the UK – crispy base, generous toppings, and that perfect cheese pull! The kids loved it, and so did we. Poppa Pizza has that rare combination of great food, friendly service, and a cozy retro atmosphere. We’ll definitely be coming back next time we’re in Nottingham!

What originally drew us to try Poppa Pizza was seeing a review claiming it had the best pizza in Beeston. I'm happy to report it did not disappoint! The “Meatloaf” and “Poppa Special” pizzas we tried were cooked to perfection with high quality dough and fresh, tasty toppings. You can really taste the care and attention put into the ingredients. Seating was available for dining in, as well as takeaway which was conveniently fast. I would recommend offering contactless card payments though, as that is now expected for convenient payment in today's world. Additionally, providing complimentary drinking water would have been a nice touch. However, the food quality more than made up for this small oversight. Overall, Poppa Pizza lives up to the hype as Beeston's top spot for pizza. Whether relaxing inside or grabbing and going, it's worth visiting for flavorful Neapolitan-style pies. Accepting cards would make the experience even better for modern diners.

This place not only has amazing food but also amazing customer service. We've ordered a pizza before going to the movie and asked for it to be prepared just before closing time. However, the movie lasted longer than we expected - 20 min after the closing time, but the wonderful owner/staff waited for us and gave us our pizza. We are extremely grateful to him and we recommend this place to everyone.
